6 Stylish Cafés in Oahu

Happy New Year and hello 2019! I went back to Japan for about one month and came back to Munich just now! So anyway, this post introduces six stylish cafés that I actually went to during my stay in Oahu, Hawaii last December. All cafés are so “instagrammable”!

Banán Waikiki Beach Shack

Miss Moore

Banán is a frozen yogurt born in Hawaii using only Hawaiian banana and fruits. There are four stores in Oahu. The one I went is located in the street between The Cheesecake Factory and the Outrigger Waikiki Beach Resort.

The taste was so banana-ish which was not too sweet nor heavy. Amazing taste! I actually had it twice during my stay because it was so yummy~!!

ARVO

It closed at the end of February 2019. According to information from the Instagram, it seem to be looking for a new relocation destination now.

Arvo is located in the Kaka’ako area, where it has rapidly gained its popularity. This café is the first Australian café to be born in Hawaii.

Instagrammers and bloggers frequently posts it on SNS as a photogenic café, which is why it became popular. I personally thought that this is one of the most “instagrammable” café in Oahu.

The Hawaii-like palm trees on the late and the loaded avocado toast were very cute. According to the Barista, the art on the latte changes randomly from time to time,  so you can enjoy different styles on different visits.

Address: 691 Auahi St, Honolulu, HI 96813, USA

The Sunrise Shack

The Sunrise Shack is a popular food stand for loco – which means locals – models and professional surfers which is located in the North Shore near Sunset Beach.

The reason why I wanted to stop by was because of a random post on instagram with this cute yellow food stand which attracted me.

One of the popular menu here is the “BULLET COFFEE”, a coffee blended with a high quality hot coffee, grass fed butter, and MCT oil. I have also heard that the positive effects towards beauty and diet has scientifically been proven.

The most popular coffee menu is “CLASSIC BULLET” which comes with an additional Madagascar vanilla powder on top. There were also several other kinds of flavored bullet coffee, so please try to charge energy with your favorite flavor.

Haleiwa Bowls

Haleiwa Bowls is located in Haleiwa, North Shore. From the menu you can choose out  Acai Bowl, smoothie, juices, coffees and Kombucha. The most popular menu is “Acai Bowl”, which is healthy and contains a variety of fruits which made the perfect and a happy breakfast for me.

HAPA BOWL  L size  $11.00

I ordered the HAPA BOWL, an organic blend of Acai, Strawberries, Blueberries, and bananas topped with hemp Granola, fresh Bananas, raw drizzled coconut flakes with Honey on top. The taste was so good!

It also had an eat-in space.

You have to try tasting the Acai Bowls at “Haleiwa Bowls” loved by locos.

Olive & Oliver Waikiki

Olive & Oliver is located at the Surfjack Hotel & Swim in Waikiki. It is a new shop (boutique/coffee bar) which contains Kailua’s popular women’s boutique “Olive Boutique” and Men’s shop “Oliver”.

The shop was small but very cute! The coffee cups and other beautiful items were on sale when I had visited. Of course it is okay just to stop by for a cup of coffee!

It is open from morning till late at night, so I would like to come for lunch or dinner for my next visit.
