YSL Museum

“YSL Museum” has opened in Marrakech on 2018 next to the famous “Jardin Majorelle”, which rapidly became a famous tourist destination. You would like to visit here along with Jardin Majorelle if you travel to Marrakech. Especially for fashion lovers this place is a must see!

Yves Saint Laurent Museum is located along Saint Laurent street. If you are also planning to visit the Jardin Majorelle you can purchase the pair ticket. If you plan to go to for both, it is highly recommended that you take the entrance of Yves Saint Laurent Museum, which you have to cue a lot shorter than the one from Jardin Majorelle!

You will find this YSL symbol right after the entrance. Marrakesh pink is beautiful.

“Marrakech taught me colour,” said Yves Saint Laurent, who bought a cobalt blue villa in Marrakech in 1996.

The museum is rather compact,  exhibiting his work pieces along with Saint Laurent’s successful life time career. I was happy to know his relationship with Marrakech. It consists with may of his pictures, sketches, and collections of his past works.

This Museum also has a bookstore and restaurant. At the bookstore you can find books and postcards – which I bought both, related to Saint Laurent. Unfortunately I had to skip the restaurant because I wanted to visit the cafe inside Jardin Majorelle.

Address: Rue Yves St Laurent, Marrakech 40000, Morocco
Open: 10:00 - 18:00 (Wednesday Closed)
